The crush is a very important part of
potato starch production plant. today we wil talk the basic principle of crushing machine.
Crushing function: sweet potato starch is mainly stored in the fleshy part of the root, only a small amount of storage in the endothelium. The purpose of Crushing is to destroy the organizational structure of the sweet potato. So tiny starch granules can be smoothly separated from the disintegration of the tuber. Starch released from the cells, known as free starch; remaining in the waste inside cells called bound starch.
Pulverization is one of the most important steps in the processing of fresh potatoes, it is related to the quality of fresh potato flour yield and starch, powdered requirements that:
(1) as much as possible to make fresh potato cells rupture, releasing more free starch granules;
(2) ease of separation. Do not want too small bran, bran too small is not conducive to the separation of starch and other ingredients, and increase the separation of fine slag difficulty.
